A green roof is an organic, sustainable rooftop system that incorporates drought tolerant plants with a soil growing medium to receive, process and transpire rainwater. The green roof concept is a water conservation tactic that serves a much greater environmental strategy.

Atlanta has storm water and waste water problems which the city is in the process of correcting. We also have serious air quality concerns. Considering the robust commercial and residential development growth we continue to face, proactive measures which compliment our environmental and infrastructure improvements will help to protect these investments and ensure that they are not obsolete in our lifetimes.

Green roofs are one such measure.
